What happens when two people who come from two different cultures try to form a romantic connection? And what if one of them is French?
This series of short films, each inspired by a true story, attempts to answer this very question.
Each episode is filmed in its own cinematic style, from romantic to thriller to film noir, and features a true dating story between Jane (an expatriate Everywoman) and Pierre (a French Everyman), or John (an expatriate Everyman) and Marie (a French Everywoman), or some combination thereof. At the ending, each episode reveals what happened to the couple in real life.
Anyone who has dreamed of traveling to Paris---or falling in love---will enjoy this romantic dramedy series.

Episode 1 - Hello, I love you….
A chance encounter with a handsome waiter in a Paris champagne bar leaves Jane, a visiting American, thirsting for romance. Her best friend, who lives in Paris, warns against falling for Pierre’s charms with a step-by-step description of a typically French seduction plan. Jane scoffs at this idea, arguing that she would never fall for such a shallow ploy. But when Pierre, over the course of a day, executes his seduction plan exactly as predicted, Jane finds herself unexpectedly swept away….
This episode has been fully produced and resulted in a New Producer to Watch award at MIPTV for Jennifer Fox Geraghty.
